Loan Officer/Member Service Representative:
Westminster Federal Credit Union is looking to hire a loan officer/member service representative (MSR). This is a full-time, on-site role. The Loan Officer will be responsible for assisting members with their loan needs, including loan origination, evaluating loan applications, performing underwriting tasks to assess creditworthiness, assisting members on the phone with a variety of transactions (not just loans), as well as other duties as assigned. This role involves providing excellent customer service, analyzing financial information, and ensuring compliance with credit union policies and regulations. Additionally, the Loan Officer will play a key role in guiding members through the loan process and maintaining strong member relationships. As a small credit union, we all wear many hats, and this role will also require a team player willing to help when and wherever needed.
Floating Member Service Representative/Teller:
Westminster Federal Credit Union is looking to hire a floating member service representative (MSR)/teller. This is a full-time, on-site role. The floating member service representative (MSR)/teller will be responsible for assisting members with their transactions on the teller line, assisting members with online banking and mobile banking, enrolling, resetting passwords, signing up for mobile deposits, etc., answering phone calls and assisting the members with loan payments, transfers, disputes, fraudulent charges, etc. This position will serve to fill in as needed in the loan department too, answering loan questions, assisting with loan applications and loan closings, auditing loan documentation, and other duties as assigned. This role involves providing excellent customer service, analyzing financial information, and ensuring compliance with credit union policies and regulations. The MSR position plays an integral role in building lasting member relationships while providing members with exceptional service. As a small credit union, we all wear many hats, and this role will also require a team player willing to help when and wherever needed.

The Credit Union Difference
Unlike banks, we are a not-for-profit institution. Instead of having stockholders, each member owns a share of the credit union. A volunteer Board of Directors, elected by the members, oversees credit union operations and ensures the credit union fulfills the purpose of "people helping people". Since there are no stockholders to pay; any profits (after paying all operational expenses) are returned back to the credit union in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates, lower fees and enhancements to service and technology.
